This environmental and literary history will focus on Alabama’s birds, in books and in the natural world. The talk, which will include eye-catching images, will last ~45 minutes, followed by Q&A.
Dr. Robin O’Sullivan is the author of American Organic: A Cultural History of Farming, Gardening, Shopping, and Eating (University Press of Kansas, 2015). She teaches U.S. History, Environmental History, Cultural History, and Western History at Troy University. The talk is aligned with a lecture series organized by Discovering Alabama.
