Tuskegee National Forest Habitat Restoration Bird Walk
April 9, 2016 @ 7:00 am - 10:00 amFree
Tuskegee National Forest has a rigorous restoration schedule for their Longleaf Pine forest areas. Join us as Natural Resource Specialist Cameron Seals shows us the methodology and various stages of restoration and how the result enhances the habitat for various wildlife, including the endangered Red-cockaded Woodpecker. We will meet at the Bartram Trail trail-head on US29, seven and a half miles South of I-85 @ College Street in Auburn. The terrain is rugged. Please wear comfortable, suitable shoes.
